Training Log

 

This is a log of distances and times that I am running, and the other training that I am doing in the lead up to running the classic.  Please keep in mind that I am an amateur, and that this is not a suggestion of a training program for anyone else, its just what I have done, and what feels right for me.  There is a wealth of information out there from endurance training professionals, as well as suggested training programs.  I think that it is important to do your own homework to formulate a training plan that works for you.

My exercise background: I have been running medium distance 10km-20km for about three years now (although more of that has been at the 10km end of the spectrum).  I have done a bit of swimming and cycling.  I do a lot of yoga and zumba too.  I have always exercised for fun more than anything else.  I am always looking to expand my knowledge about improving my performance, particularly with regard to nutrition.
